Support Maine Maritime Museum with the purchase of this gorgeousIsle au Haut Boat Tara half hull model! Built staring in 1907 this Whitehall style pulling boat was often found along the Maine coast. Beautifully handmade by a volunteer at the museum's Boatshop from a set of lines drawn by D.W. Dillion, this scale model of the historic vessel will look perfect above a mantle or in an office.
The model is a "salvage" model that was found in debris under a band saw at MMM. It dates back to the 1990 era apprentice shop. It was completed with a mahogany transom, stem and keel to the pine hull and mounted it on a piece of driftwood for that Maine cabin "rustic" look.
