Our custom Snow Squall necklace represents the resilience of the Snow Squall built in South Portland, Maine. One of the fastest ships ever built, the Snow Squall traveled the world's trade routes, carrying coffee and spices. A section of the hull was recovered near the Falkland Islands, after being submerged over 100 years, and is now located on the Maine Maritime Museum campus. These enamel-coated copper pendants evoke the copper panels that protected the hull of the vessel. A unique and lovely gift for a maritime history lover!
