The "Whitehall" boats of New England were used as working craft in the 19th century and are considered a touchstone of small craft elegance. This boat was built in Eastport in the early 1980's and restored in the Museum's boatshop in 2008. Planked in white cedar, framed in white oak, and trimmed with mahogany. Shaw & Tenney oars included.
Proceeds support the Discovery Boat Building Program.
