The Penobscot Map & Gazetteer created by James Eric Francis Sr. through the Penobscot Nation Cultural and Historic Preservation Department, is a guide to "the places and names given by our ancestors" from the Penobscot language to the English translations. The beautiful map is accompanied by a gazetteer for additional reference. The map dimensions: when unfolded are: 39" x 57". James Eric Francis Sr.'s work is featured in the Re|Soinding exhibit now on view at Maine Maritime Museum.
