Built by New England Co., Bath, for Portland Steam Packet Co., 1889. This infamous coastal steamer was lost with all (ca. 192) passengers and crew in the Gale of November 1898. Wreck found on Stellwagen Bank, Massachusetts. Gross tonnage 2,284; register dimensions 275’x42’x15’.
